#05 MARGAO CITY

Margao, Goa's second largest city by population isn't to far from the Idex Camp.

About 20-60 min by bus, while you can hardly say how long it will take before in generally, caused by them stopping wherever people want to get in (no bus stations, quite funny).

But you can see that I love to use that mode of transport with all their colours, their decorations and least but not last their really cheap price.

It's actually a typical asian/indian city according to me, even though it's quite small to the bigger ones as Dehli or Jaipur. Further it's really busy and crowded and full of cars and bikes (as in whole India) but for me it was definitely worth seeing.

In generally, if you visit Goa you should take at least one or two ours to have a look around there.

Here are some impressions.

Margao, Goa's zweitgroesste Stadt ist nicht allzu weit vom Idex Camp entfernt. Ca 20-60 min mit dem Bus (die Dauer kann man im voraus so gut wie gar nicht erahnen, da es anders als in Europa keine Haltestellen gibt, der Bus haelt dort wo Leute einsteigen moegen). Trotzem habe ich es geliebt Bus zu fahren. Sie sind, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen schon etwas aelter, allerdings wundervoll farbenfroh, geschmueckt und unschlagbar guenstig.

Marago ist im Prinzip eine ziemlich tyische asiatische/indische Stadt wuerde ich sagen, wenn auch sehr klein im Vergleich zu anderen. Es ist ziemlich viel los, wimmelt von Menschen und der Verkehr ist, wie im Rest von Indien allerdings auch, enorm(vorallem Roller).

Meiner Meinung nach ist sie einen Besuch wert.

Wenn es jemanden dort draussen also mal nach Goa fuehren sollte, empfehle ich sich 1,2 Stuendchen einzuplanen um die Stadt zu erkunden.

Hier ein paar Eindruecke.
