As I took so many pictures there I want to seperate them. So here are the last picture from Halong Bay and the Island we spend one night on (Cat Ba), I promise.

#18 HALONG BAY

Beautiful Halong Bay. (located in the north of Vietnam)

I booked a tour to get there in Hanoi which was quite cheap after I talked to the guy at the office for about a complete hour, but even if I would have paid more it would have been worthwhile. You can find magic over there, exspecially at night ! My first night on a boat and I spend it looking up to the stars at night for hours, singing, dancing and talking. It was amazing. As it was a three-day-two-nights-trip we headed over to an island (CatBa) on the second day to do a short trekking tour there, relax at the beach in the afternoon and then to stay there overnight. I hope you can enjoy the pictures. Please feel free to leave me a comment about how you like my writing, my photographs and my whole blog. I would love to hear something like that, as I would love to improve it in that way.

Die wundervolle Halong Bay Bucht im Norden Vietnams.

Von Hanoi aus habe ich mir eine Tour dorthin gebucht, die ich nach vielem Handeln ziemlich guenstig ergattert habe. Im Nachhinein kann ich mit gutem Gewissen sagen dass ich auch mehr gezahlt haette, es ist ein wunderschoenes Fleckchen Erde. (Selten trifft es bei mir das Wort 'wunder' so gut) Die erste Nacht die ich auf einem Boot verbrachte, und zwar damit den Sternenhimmel mit meinen hungrigen Augen zu verschlingen, zu tanzen, zu lachen, und mich mit tollen Menschen unterhalten zu duerfen. Es war unglaublich schoen. Damit war der zwei-naechte-drei-tages-trip aber noch nicht am Ende angelangt, am zweiten Tag legten wir an einer Insel (CatBa) an, auf welcher wir nach einer kurzen Trekking Tour Zeit zum entspannen fanden und schliesslich auch schliefen.

Ich hoffe euch gefallen meine Fotos und auch dass sie wenigstens einen kleinen Eindruck von diesem magischen Ort vermitteln koennen, vielleicht fuehlt sich ja der ein oder andere sogar dazu hingerissen selbst mal einen Abstecher dorthin zu machen. Hinterlasst mir doch ein Kommentar, sagt mir was euch an meinen Fotos, meinem Schreibstil und dem Gesamtbild meines Blogs gefaellt, ich wuerde sehr gerne auf diesem Wege daran arbeiten koennen. 

 

 

 

 

#18 HANOI

Hanoi. Vietnams capital in which I stayed for 2 weeks, but sadly didn't take too much pictures.

But I should, it is a really nice city with it's own charme, I would say. You can learn a lot of the vietnamese history there of course, and you should. It is impressing. I've been at the prison museum as you can see at the pictures which I really liked. They keept it pretty good and give you a lot of background information through texts and videos as well. Further you are at a pretty good adress in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. You find everything there, like if you are looking for shoes visit the 'shoe street' or go and find make up on the 'make up street'. Yes, their streets are named after what they sell there. Isn't that crazy ?

Well, actually I am not really sure if I do like that system or not. Kind of too ordely for me. What do you think ?

Hanoi, die Hauptstadt von Vietnam in der ich 2 Wochen verbrachte, jedoch dafuer ziemlich wenige Fotos geschossen habe. Leider, denn es ist eine wirklich schoene Stadt, sie hat meiner Meinung nach ihren eigenen ganz besonderen Charme. Man lernt viel ueber deren Geschichte, wie es in diese Land auch sein sollte. Ich habe unter anderem das 'Prison Museum' besucht, wie man den Bildern entnehmen kann, welches mir sehr gefallen hat. Sie haben es auf eine beeindruckende Weise erhalten, vermitteln ein schauriges Gefuehl und geben dazu viele Hintergrundinformationen. Ausserdem sind Hobbyshopper in der Stadt auch nicht an der falschen Adresse. Sucht man zum Beispiel nach neuen Schuhen, stattet man der Schuhstrasse einen Besuch ab, sucht man Make up geht man in die Make up Strasse. Versteht ihr das Prinzip ? :-P Sie benennen also ihre Strassen nach dem was sie dort verkaufen, verrueckt oder ? Fuer mich persoenlich war es nichts, muss ich sagen, vielleicht schlicht und einfach eine Spur zu geordnet. Was haltet ihr von diesem Prinzip?

 

#17 HOI AN

With some other girls from the volunteer organisation I did a weekend trip to beautiful Hoi An which I really want to share with you.In fact it's not too special, just a small town with a big market. But you can say whatever you want, I felt a lot of magic there.

I dont dont know why, I don't now when, I don't know where exactly.

But I did.So all I can say is that if you get the chance to you should give it a visit.At least a short one. It's worth it.

And if you there you have to try the amazing food at 'an niem' that you find on the following pictures.

Mit zwei anderen Frauen die ebenfalls fuer die Freiwilligenarbeit nach Vietnamgereist sind habe ich einen Wochenendsausflug in die wunderschoene Stadt Hoi An gemacht.Die dabei entstandenen Fotos moechte ich euch nicht vorenthalten. Eigentlich hat die Stadt nichts sonderlich besonderes.Ist halt eine kleine Stadt mit einem grossen Markt. Aber man kann sagen was immer wann will, ich habe dort eine Art Magie spueren duerfen. Ich weiss nicht warum, weiss nicht wann und weiss nicht wo genau.Aber sie war da, ist immernoch dort hoffe ich.

Alles was ich hierzu also zu sagen habe ist, falls sich euch die Moeglichkeit bieten sollte diese wundervolle Stadt zu besuchen, dann nehmt sie wahr und ueberzeugt euch selbst ! Es lohnt sich.

Und noch etwas, falls es euch tatsaechlich dort hinfuehrt probiert dass schmackhafte Essen im Restaurant dass ich im folgenden fuer euch abgelichtet habe!

#16 DA NANG

Some impressions of my first stop in Vietnam.

Da Nang is located in the central-southern part of the country and not too touristic.

As I worked there as well as in India I havent got that much pictures to show.

(I don't want to publish pictures of the orphans and disabled children I worked with)

But I can say that it was a really nice experience to see how good volunteer work can actually be.

The founder of the organisation there, 'Volunteer Vietnam', had to made the experience of 

growing up without parents and decited then to spend his money 

and time to help people with the same tragical destiny. 

We had a plan to teach english to the people as well as one to do physical therapie 

with the disabled children that gave us the feeling to really help there 

not as it was in India as I already told.

Everything was organised really well so that we had the chance to

 help in each of their programs.

I also booked it with TravelWorks and can absolutely suggest it 

to each of you out there who's interested in that.

Einige Eindruecke von meinem ersten Stop in Vietnam.

Da Nang befindet sich im zentral-suedlichen Part des Landes und ist realtiv untouristisch.

Da ich auch dort gearbeitet habe gibt es nicht allzu viele Bilder zu zeigen.

(Ich moechte keine Fotos der Kranken und Weisenkinder veroeffentlichen)

Was ich aber mit gutem Gewissen behaupten kann ist dass die Freiwilligenarbeit dort wirklich gut funktioniert.

 Der Gruender der Organisation vor Ort, 'Volunteer Vietnam', hat selbst die tragische Erfahrung gemacht 

ohne Eltern aufwachsen zu muessen und sich aus diesem Grunde dazu verpflichtet denen 

welche das gleiche Schicksal erwartet zu helfen. Wir hatten einen Plan fuer den Englischunterricht 

und auch einen fuer die Physiotherapie die wir mit den behinderten Kindern ausuebten, 

das ganze war abwechslungsreich gestaltet und organisiert sodass man 

sich in jedem der Projekte engajieren konnte.

Ich hatte endlich dass Gefuehl wirklich helfen zu koennen, 

bin sehr dankbar fuer dieses Erlebnis und kann es jedem waermstens empfehlen!
